A Thorough Fare, LLC, established in 1997, is a successful Louisville-based corporation offering event planning and management services. Prior to founding A Thorough Fare, Marcie Hancock worked as a corporate event planner for a Fortune 500 company in Louisville, Kentucky. When the opportunity presented itself, Hancock launched her own event planning business - A Thorough Fare. Originally, the company offered it's services to corporate customers. Later services were expanded to personal or social clients.

Since its inception, A Thorough Fare has built an excellent reputation as an outstanding professional event planning company. Our reputation has been built the right way…one event at a time.

Through its history, A Thorough Fare has managed a wide range of corporate and social events. A few include: 'Chalet events' at the PGA, sales incentive trips to Bahamas/ Mexico/Bermuda/Key Largo, corporate meetings, corporate and social Derby events, business dinner parties, movie premiers, company picnics, holiday get-togethers, special celebrations, formal dinner parties, theme parties and open houses. The types of events handled by our company vary greatly. However, the result is the same for the client…a great event or function.
